The Vintage Typewriter Shoppe specializes in fully refurbished vintage and antique typewriters. The process of refurbishing includes disassembly, degreasing, cleaning, repairs, adjustments, platen and feed roller reconditioning or replacement, parts replacement, oiling, testing and reassembly with a new ribbon installed. We do not offer "lovingly cleaned" typewriters. Lovingly cleaned is a simple dry brush and oil process that anyone with little to no experience can accomplish. The VTS refurbishing process requires several hands-on hours, specialty tools, professional training and approximately 5 business days to complete a portable typewriter. Office model typewriters require twice as much time. You get what you pay for!

The Vintage Typewriter Shoppe also offers fine writing paper, ribbons for every typewriter, quality typewriter pads, typewriter covers, ribbon tins, gifts, a 90-day warranty and a 1-year warranty.
