 The Vintage Typewriter Shoppe is proud to announce the addition of fine writing paper to the VTS product line! It's been a long search for a quality writing paper that would work well in a vintage typewriter. Copy paper doesn't work and card stock is too thick for regular use. I tried over 70 samples in various machines but none seemed much better than one before. I stumbled upon a small firm producing a 100% post consumer waste, 100% recycled paper. I liked the idea of using something that was good for the environment and ordered my samples. The paper was amazing! The best I have used in years. It feed perfectly into each typewriter and the impression was crisp. I had found the best paper at last! Now, I just had to get this company to do business with a micro company ;-) It's harder than you think to get large companies to do business with a one man operation. This has been the most difficult aspect of my search. From the paper to the pads to finding someone willing to make the custom typewriter covers. No one was interested. After much persistence(and buying a lot of product), I can now offer these fine papers and envelopes to my wonderful customers. Without your input and requests, this would never have happened.
