VTS Opinion of Use:Hard to find condition! Local purchase that had been in the same family since purchased. Be sure to checkout the Blickensderfer 8 that I acquired from the same family! Early model 3(Black/Copper finish) in amazing original condition with a cover that's just as nice. How many Postal's do you see in this condition? Similar to the Blickensderfer, the Postal allowed for fast changes in fonts by using a type wheel. This machine used a 5/16" ribbon as opposed to an ink roller. One ribbon spool is stuck and I'm leaving it alone. It ratchets while typing, but the right spool has frozen. I will include a new ribbon(not installed) so if the new owner feels compelled to work the spool loose, he/she will have a new ribbon to go on it ;-) With a new ribbon, I think it would type like new. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions about this beautiful, original vintage typewriter or need more pictures :-)
