VTS Opinion of Use: Another great typewriter from Olympia! The SM7 is very similar to the SM9 mechanically. The body is not as robust but the performance is still impressive. The Olympia's are outstanding machines for casual writing to heavy, daily use. I type on hundreds of machines each year and these have the absolute best feel. The keys have a light touch with a quick return and the overall mechanics are silky smooth. Touch control, advanced TAB system, near perfect alignment and looks to boot. The finest manual writing machine ever built. I doubt you'll believe you're using a manual typewriter! This is a consignment piece.
